The present plan for training a hydro-manipulator operator  and the training programme are designated for the first level training and the envisaged duration thereof is   152 hours. A hydro-manipulator is a special machine on the basis of a car and a tractor designed to perform timber loading, unloading and warehousing works. Persons over 18 years of age and having the qualification of a C category driver or a tractor-driver can study this syllabus. The training programme consists of theory and practical training. 56 hours are designated for theory training, including 10 hours of practical lessons. Practical skills to operate a hydro-manipulator are mastered directly at a workplace performing timber loading works.  Having completed the training and passed exams, persons are issued with a certificate (code 1114) entitling to work with hydro-manipulators. Individuals, who have a C category driver’s qualification can work with hydro-manipulators equipped on the basis of a motor vehicle (“Fiskars” type, etc.), and those having a tractor’s qualification – with hydro-manipulators equipped on the basis of a tractor (“Forwarder” type, etc.).

3. Types and periodicity of technical maintenance and repairs.
4. The rates of the adjustment of mechanisms.
5. The factory operating manual of a hydro-manipulator subject to servicing.
6. The rules of work performance using a hydro-manipulator.
7. The work safety manual for a hydro-manipulator operator, fire safety, environmental protection requirements.
