Implementing the mission of the UAB “COS LT“ -to improve occupational safety and health in enterprises, we endeavour to provide the managers of enterprises with professional information on the issues of occupational safety and health.

Paragraph 1 of Article 12 of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health of the Republic of Lithuania (Žin., 2003, No 70-3170) envisages that “An employer pursuing to ensure occupational safety and health shall assign on or more employees as health and safety specialists or shall establish an occupational safety and health service <...>. In the event if an enterprise does not have such persons or the number thereof is insufficient in order to ensure the appropriate preventive measures of occupational safety and health, the employer may conclude a contract  with  <...> a legal entity  <...> on the performance of the functions of the occupational safety and health service or any part thereof. In all cases the number of the specialists of occupational safety and health shall be sufficient in consideration of the type of the enterprise’s economical activities, the number of employees and professional risks, in order to enable them to organise the preventive measures of occupational safety and health in the enterprise".

  • The Labour Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Occupational Safety and Health as well as other legislation oblige an employer to ensure safe working conditions to his employees.

The UAB “COS LT“ consults on:

  • All issues of the occupational safety and health, fire safety, civil safety of an enterprise;
  • The issues of labour law, labour councils, the concluding of collective contracts.
